Special Interview: Rob McClure on Miscast, ‘Mrs. Doubtfire,’ Quarantine, Passing the Baton

Play

When the COVID-19 pandemic forced Broadway to shut down, Tony nominee Rob McClure was in previews for the new musical adaptation of the iconic film “Mrs. Doubtfire.” In this special Labor Day interview, we talk about the show and how special it will be when it is able to return, what he and his wife (and frequent co-star) Maggie Lakis have been doing during the shutdown, and this coming Sunday’s special 20th annual MCC Miscast gala.

Rob also discusses the importance of passing the baton in a now iconic Conductor Cam episode, whose Miscast performance he is looking forward to the most, and much, much more.
