Believe it or not, having just taken over as Jane Seymour at the Lena Horne Theater, “SIX” is the first professional musical that Kelsie has ever been in. Prior to making the move to New York, she has been a working musician, releasing songs, albums, and music videos, while touring and gigging around the country.
In addition to becoming a fan favorite on singing competition shows “American Idol” and “The Voice,” Kelsie has a massive following on social media where she often shares songs from her kitchen, with her doting husband Brandon in the background.
In their conversation, Kelsie and Matt discuss the wild ride that brought her to New York, how a life in the music business prepared her for “SIX,” what the first few weeks of Queendom have been like, what the support of her husband means, and much more.
