Sunday night, the 67th Annual Grammy Awards took place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The gracefully named “CATEGORY 38 — Best Musical Theater Album” was won by Hell’s Kitchen — Shoshana Bean, Brandon Victor Dixon, Kecia Lewis & Maleah Joi Moon, principal vocalists; Adam Blackstone, Alicia Keys & Tom Kitt, producers (Alicia Keys, composer & lyricist) (Original Broadway Cast)
This award is given —
For albums containing greater than 51% playing time of new recordings. Award to the principal vocalist(s), and the album producer(s) of 50% or more playing time of the album. The lyricist(s) and composer(s) of 50% or more of a score of a new recording are eligible for an Award if any previous recording of said score has not been nominated in this category.
Runners up in this category were Merrily We Roll Along, The Notebook, The Outsiders, Suffs, and The Wiz.

Presented by The American Theatre Wing, the Off-Broadway honors announce their winners without a ceremony to allow grants to be bestowed on each of the 35 winners, totaling $250,000. A private reception to toast the winners will be held February 10.
