With Elizabeth Sun and Doug Harris
Redeemed spins a story over the course of two prison visitations between Claire Yiang, a woman whose brother was murdered nine years ago, and Trevor Barlow, the murderer. Having sent Claire a letter begging for a visit, Trevor tries to prove he’s now a changed man thanks to the help of her brother’s ghost. Claire must decide if Trevor is capable of redemption, or just attempting to impress the parole board.
Contemporary American Theater Festival is honored to produce Redeemed as part of 59E59’s AMPLIFY Festival: celebrating the work of Chisa Hutchinson.

Peter’s Brainteaser:
It’s a Tony-winning musical whose leading character’s name is part of its title.
Among its OTHER characters, there are five whose first names start with each of the first five letters of the alphabet.
For example, if there were a Tony-winning musical called OH, BLANCHE! and had characters named Anya, Billy, Coco, Donna and Evita, you’d have both parts of your answer.
Remember, the person who’s in the title does have a name that starts with one of those five letters, but in addition, I’m looking for A, B, C, D, and E names that do NOT include this titular character.
So, what are the five alphabetical names as well as the name of the musical?
