First, he talks to the show’s co-conceiver, co-book writer, and director Will Nunziata. They get into how Will and his co-writer Ashley Jana began working together, the show’s upcoming stage debut in London, as well as a forthcoming album of Will’s most recent Off-Broadway show “The White Rose.”
Then, Mat chats with “Figaro’s” leading lady, Cayleigh Capaldi about playing Sienna. Having spent nine months on The Ship of Dreams in ‘Titanique,’ Cayleigh is now preparing to star as Elsa in the first-ever regional production of ‘Frozen’ at the Tuacahn in Utah. They discuss both of those shows as well as get into the nuances of recording an album for a show that has yet to be staged, the collaborative nature of the process, and her growing TikTok fame.
