On today’s episode, Matt Tamanini is in conversation with an icon of stage and screen Marilu Henner. The veteran of seven Broadway shows, multiple legendary sitcoms, dozens of movies, and more is coming back to New York in the Off-Broadway premiere of Sandra Tsing Loh’s “Madwomen of the West” beginning performances on Saturday, Nov. 11 at the Actor’s Temple.
In the conversation, they discuss how the show started as a Zoom project then turned into a multi-time extended book-in-hand run in Los Angeles, and is now coming to the Actor’s Temple with hopes for a future beyond that.
They also get into some highlights of her legendary career, her son Nick’s directorial debut with “Theatre Camp,” her highly superior autobiographical memory (HSAM), and much more.
