Special Episode: Solo Shows, Eulogies, Horses at 59E59

Play

On today’s episode, Matt Tamanini is in conversation with two writers and performers who are getting set to bring one-person shows to 59E59 in the coming week. First is Brendan George whose show “A Eulogy for Roman” tells the story of a nervous man who moves to a new city, but still feels compelled to host a memorial for a late friend. “A Eulogy for Roman” runs Off-Broadway from Aug. 8 through Aug. 27.

The second is with Broadway alum Robert Montano whose show “Small” shares his perilous real-life journey from wannabe jockey at Belmont Park to dancing on Broadway and in films. “Small” will begin performances on Aug. 12 and is set to play through Sept. 2.
