On today’s episode, Matt Tamanini is in conversation with one of Broadway’s favorite couples Christine Dwyer and Matt DeAngelis. While they have been seen respectively on Broadway and on tour in “Waitress,” “Wicked,” “American Idiot,” “Finding Neverland,” “Hair,” and many other shows, the real-life married couple is getting the opportunity to do a show together down in Orlando, Fla. as they are co-starring in the Victory Productions’ run of “Rock of Ages.”
In addition to these musical theatre heavy hitters, the show stars familiar theatre names Diana Huey — who recently played Ariel on the national tour of “The Little Mermaid” — and Justin Matthew Sargent — who made his Broadway debut in “ROA” and is also directing this production.
They are joined by incredibly talented vocalists Omar Cardona — who finished fourth on the latest season of “The Voice” — “American Idol runner-up Bo Bice, and rock signer Militia Vox.
The show runs through Feb. 26 at the Garden Theatre with four performances in The Villages as well.
