Play

In what is a career highlight for Matt, the legendary, Tony-winning writer and composer Rupert Holmes talks about his latest play “All Things Equal – The Life and Trials of Ruth Bader Ginsburg,” which is playing in Sag Harbor through Nov. 27 before resuming its national tour in the new year.

Holmes discusses the extremely personal connection to the Supreme Court icon that led him to want to dramatize her story, the differences between writing plays, music, and novels, and the rocky road to getting “The Nutty Professor” back on the stage.

He also surprises Matt with one of the most incredible serenades of his life.
