Special Episode: Neil D’Astolfo on His Solo Show ‘Mister Miss America’

On this special episode, Grace Aki talks to actor and playwright Neil D’Astolfo on his solo show “Mister Miss America.” The world premiere of the show begins performances at the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater this week. The show is scheduled to run from July 6 through Aug. 7. 

Neil wrote and stars in the show and it was developed through the AFO Solo Collective. “Mister Miss America” is directed by Tony Speciale.

Tonight. Is. The. Night. Y’all. It’s the 86th Annual Miss Southwestern Virginia Pageant, and Derek Tyler Taylor is fightin’ tooth and well-manicured nail to win the crown. But when the road to victory is bumpier than a sock fulla Skittles™, Derek must decide how dirty he’s willing to play to make his lifelong dream come true.
