Tonys Special: Tony-Nominated Producer Oliver Roth Predicts Tony Winners

Play

Despite the weirdness of the year and this Sunday’s awards ceremony, there was no way that BroadwayRadio’s Matt Tamanini was going to miss his annual tradition of talking to four-time Tony-nominated producer and Tony-predictions obsessive Oliver Henry Roth about this year’s nominees.

The pair reveals Oliver’s picks in every Tonys category (for Matt, Grace Aki, and Ashley Steves’ predictions, check out Friday, Wednesday, and Thursday’s episodes of “Today on Broadway,” respectively), and they discuss the biggest categories and the challenges, quirkiness, and opportunities afforded to shows and artists because of the long layoff between the shut down and the ceremony.
