(A) TINA, HADESTOWN, BEETLEJUICE & AIN’T TOO PROUD to Perform at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
We’re skipping ahead two weeks to the 93rd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Yesterday, the musical acts for this year’s festivities were released: cast from TINA: THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL, HADESTOWN, BEETLEJUICE and AIN’T TOO PROUD—THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE TEMPTATIONS will perform. The parade will also feature a performance from the Radio City Rockettes.
As previously announced, other performers will include Billy Porter, Idina Menzel, and Lea Michele, along with many others. The parade begins at 9:00 AM on November 29th and will be broadcast nationally on NBC.

(J) ROCK OF AGES is Now An Open-Ended Engagement at New World Stages
Yesterday, it was announced that the 10th Anniversary production of ROCK OF AGES will transition into an open-ended run at New World Stages. The production was originally scheduled as a 16-week engagement through October 6th. This was, of course, after its six-year-run on Broadway. Now, tickets are now on sale through September 13th, 2020, at Telecharge.
Performances began on June 19th, 2019. The current cast stars CJ Eldred, Kirsten Scott, Mitchell Jarvis, PJ Griffith, Stacee Jaxx, Matt Ban, and more.

(J) New York Theatre Workshop Announces One-Week Final Extension of SING STREET
New York Theatre Workshop announced yesterday it would extend its upcoming SING STREET by one final week.
Previews for the world premiere will begin on November 25th with an opening night set for December 16th. The run was originally on sale through January 12th, then January 19th, and now—and lastly—January 26th.
The new musical, based on the motion picture, features a book from ONCE writer Enda Walsh, Gary Clark, and film writer-helmer John Carney. Tickets are available at nytw.org or via TodayTix’s CHEAPTIX Digital Lottery.
