Reviews

MP: Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody @ The Culture Club, through September 7, 2026

Adam Feldman
Pet peeve of the day: Marketing is marketing, I know, but it bugs me a little that Titaníque keeps saying it started in the basement of a Gristedes! It started at Asylum NYC, which was located in a long-established downstairs theater space that had formerly been the Upright Citizens Brigade, and before that the Maverick, and before that the American Jewish Rep, and before that the Roundabout. Yes, there was a Gristedes above that space for a time, but Asylum was very much a real theater, not a grocery-store basement pop-up.
